If you find that you happen to be on the west side of Michigan, in Benton Harbor, you have to check out Clifford’s Coffee Canal. This hidden gem (well… if you are a tourist it’s hidden but I get the feeling if you are a local it is completely well known) has wonderful food, excellent coffee and the most Utopian outdoor patio and rooftop. Also, the service is wonderful and the staff is super friendly.
When you walk up to the exterior and step inside the cafe the first thing you notice is their love of flowers, plants and of course, succulents! They have also salvaged much of the material from the original space which gives this a completely authentic feel.
