Necessity: Footstools and Ottomans

One of the most functional pieces of furniture you can have around is a footstool or small ottoman. Taking up little room, they offer a place to kick your feet up, extra seating, or even a quick 2” boost if you need to reach something (I’m 5′-4″ so every inch helps!). One of my favorite things to look for while I’m out discovering the newest vintage or antique pieces are footstools and ottomans. However not just any kind, the low kind. The ones that take minimal effort to lift your legs up for maximum enjoyment!. They are hard to find as they were more popular in the early to mid 1900’s. Today I’ve rounded up some of the best vintage footstools and ottomans out there and some inspiring photos on how to place them. Until Tomorrow ~GG
